Give the look of woven wonders with this hand-knotted wool vintage Caucasian Shirvan Prayer rug. Combining the bold geometric print with a directional prayer rug layout, this vintage Shirvan rug will take on a curated look that feels timeless while imparting a sense of warmth and welcomed informality. The abrashed field features two mihrab panels anchored with ram's horn motifs and hooked edges at one end. Inside the mihrabs, hands on hips motifs alternate with star symbols. Stars, Goz eye motifs, and animal figures run along the middle of the composition while small rosettes are dotted along the mihrab niches. It is enclosed with a serrated leaf meander border flanked with an inner and outer running water guard band.
