moreThis depression Vaseline glass bowl was made by the Anchor Hocking Glass Co. and it is pressed glass pressed in the Colonial pattern that they produced from 1934-1936. The Colonial pattern is also known as the "Knife and Fork" pattern from the lovely fluted ribbed Art Deco design that looked like the ends of knives and forks to collectors hence the name. This bowl was made with uranium that was added to the glass to give it the vibrant yellow green color that glows a bright green under the black light. This bowl is the large fruit version that measures 9" wide by 2 5/8" tall and it is in "Pristine Condition" with no chips, no cracks, no repairs to the glass, and very little wear to the piece for it's age.
