Large 17th / 18th century Chinese Kangxi Period (1654 - 1722) porcelain jar of baluster form rising from a slightly … Read more Large 17th / 18th century Chinese Kangxi Period (1654 - 1722) porcelain jar of baluster form rising from a slightly spreading foot to a short cylindrical neck, painted to the exterior in bright cobalt-blue tones with leafy peony scrolls, the shoulder encircled by a chevron border enclosing ruyi cloud scrolls, all below a band of upright lappets. Measures 18" tall. With repair to break running the circumference at the base of the neck, with chips along the break line. Displays well. See less
