Rare and Fabulous Moroccan (from Fez) .underglaze cobalt blue and white round porcelain and lid all wrapped in silver sheet and silver filigree. Ca. Late 19th. The silver wrapped porcelain body is decorated with rich underglaze cobalt-blue Moorish design on a off-white body. This is wrapped in welded delicate silver sheet and silver wire. Sitting on 3 curved 'legs'. Topped with round slightly domed lid wrapped and welded silver filigree with tall tent-like finial/crown. All exhibiting an age-warmed patina.
