This sculpted teak dining table is composed of solid teak, unlike most Danish teak dining tables which are veneered.

Finn Juhl really designed this table with an understated elegance, sculpted and pointed downward ends of the table with the deign echoed by the framing of the table. The table pulls at both ends to expose the hidden storage for the 2 leaves that can be used to extend the dining table to comfortably accommodate 10-12 people. Each leaf measures 19.75".

This dining table really is gorgeous, with an aerodynamic airplane design of sorts with the subtle angular lines throughout. We currently have this dining table in the gallery paired with a set of 6 Harry Ostergaard dining chairs, with 2 Hans Wegner chairs at the captains positions and it looks absolutely incredible. This dining table would look excellent in any mid century modern, modern or contemporary environment. Finn Juhl is definitely one of the masters of mid century design and his pedigree is unparalleled.

This piece would look wonderful paired with other Danish modern pieces, Arne Jacobsen, Arne Norelle, Neils Moller, Hans Olsen or Neils Moller pieces would all pair very nicely with this dining table. See less
