This wonderful lamp was designed in Italy during 1978 by Silvio Carpani for Stilnovo. This amazing piece most unique element is the adjustable halogen upper light with built-in dimmer, that has the original Stilnovo mark. A slender, rectangular stele with sharp contours that floats above the floor. The surface of the long sides is interspersed with continuous grooves. At the upper end of the stele is the head of the lamp. The lamp body merges inconspicuously into the head. Only a small joint and the red bow marks the separation to the head. The lamp is completely black. Selected details are set off in red and contrast with the black lamp body. The lamp head can be tilted up to 90 degrees. Thus the ceiling flood light becomes a wall spotlight. The movement of the head is additionally staged by the protruding red. Particularly striking is the foot, which, in contrast to the slim stele, appears almost protruding. This is contrasted by its design: fine, red brackets that merge into cylindrical runners at the bottom. The actual lamp body is thus lifted off the floor. This design of the foot makes the lamp appear light and mobile. A modern, sexy floor lamp that will add originality to a mid-century-style living room or bedroom. This piece has an attribution mark,
