This amazing piece was designed in Italy in July 2001. Circles and concentric ellipses are cut into the material to create a systematic pattern of "petals" that can be oriented in different directions to produce evocative effects on the walls. The pattern on the lamp surface itself creates a beautiful relief, with the void filled by the light shining through. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
