This is an original French mid-century fashion drawing from the late 1940s. It is an ink and watercolor illustration with pencil done on cream tone tissue paper. It features daywear. Note the single button jacket with broad sweeping lapels, the cinched waist and the skirted waistline pleated details.! The neutral color tones are highlighted with strong red contrasts to create a dynamic color pop. Note too the stylized pose! Excellent condition with clean strong graphic lines. Clean and pristine. Tissue paper is affixed at top to white drawing paper. 7.25 x 10.25 inches in size. Purchased by us in Paris. Perfect for today's vintage clothing fashionista! Original fashion drawings are most difficult to find in good condition with the passage of time. This one is in excellent condition.
