This is an original French mid-century fashion drawing from the late 1940s. It is an ink and watercolor illustration with pencil done on cream tone tissue paper. It features daywear. Note the full swing skirt, the cape-like top, cinched stylized waistline, and the hat! The lavender color tones are highlighted with strong magenta contrasts to create a dynamic color combination. You can sense the fluidity and motion of the design. Great dancing fashion! Excellent condition with clean strong graphic lines. Clean and pristine. Tissue paper is laid atop white drawing paper. 8 x 10 inches in size. Perfect for today's vintage clothing fashionista! Purchased by us in Paris.
