Offered is a 6 piece set of Wine Charm Eggs, inspired by the Imperial Eggs (1/2 inch) individually colored Fabergé … Read more Offered is a 6 piece set of Wine Charm Eggs, inspired by the Imperial Eggs (1/2 inch) individually colored Fabergé Eggs in enamel on a guilloché ground, ornamented with gold plate over sterling silver. Each demi-egg (flat rear surface engraved with Faberge arms and name) is suspended from a circular gold wire that opens for placing on the stem of a glass to identify each person's glass at a dinner party. The set is presented in a handsome velvet case with each charm suspended individually in the case (I suggest that with a bit of imagination and a narrow gold chain these eggs can also be worn as pendants). Each case inscribed by Tatiana Faberge (1930-2020), see inside lid of the presentation case - "To Aislin - Tatiana Faberge - Easter 2004".

Provenance: Each case inscribed by the great-granddaughter of Peter Carl Fabergé, Tatiana was the daughter of Theodore and Tatiana Fabergé (neé Cheremeteff). Born in Geneva in 1930, Tatiana studied jewellery design in Paris during the early 1950s, where she was in close contact with her uncles Eugene and Alexander Fabergé who ran Fabergé & Cie, which traded in and restored objects made by the House of Fabergé as well as general jewellery and objets d’art. They gave her first hand information about the House of Fabergé. See less
