They appear to be layered and create a harmony in the visually textured composition. The painting is very delicate and subtle in it's lovely pale blue, grays, and ivory.. There is lots of embossed texture in the layering of colors and forms. Image size is 18"x14". Printed on archival cream French paper. Artist Martha Holden was trained at the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan and worked as an artist in France for 20 years. She has a long history in sales to private and corporate collections as well as her art has been featured in numerous TV and film productions. Signed Holden lower right. Fits a standard size frame.
