Olson vintage beveled mirror with unique matching decorative shelf bracket. We purchased it in the early 70’s. J.A. Olson was located in Winona, Mississippi and produced many varied styles of mirrors. This one is unique due to the matching shelf bracket. In my research, I have not seen any available. The shelf looks as though it was repaired due to some de-lamination of the veneer and some carved elements, but it is still a wonderful find. The slim mirror with the carvings and shell design top décor is in very nice condition and I cannot find any of the issues with it. The deep darker color with golden accents of the wood carvings are beautiful.
The hanging directions are on the back along with the company name. There is also a partial sticker with the words, “Fine Hardwood” on it.
This is a wonderful find and looks great in any décor!
The frame is 40” tall by 10 ½” wide and is 1” thick
The shelf is 15” tall by 14” wide and is 6 ½” deep See less
