The quality of the inlays is exceptional by any standards with mythological beasts and birds intertwined with foliate decoration throughout and beautiful classical heads in the main panels. This is a substantially made piece of antique furniture with six bun feet and reeded columns supporting an undertier with a line inlaid back on which sits five cupboard, the end and centre glazed. Inside two of the doors are ivorine labels for T. Simpson & Sons, Cabinet Makers Halifax. The top has been re-polished due to fading which finishes off this whole piece which is in excellent condition with all locks working and with keys. This piece has an attribution mark,
