Stunning and one of a kind Lion Cachet attributed Art Deco armchair. This work of art is made of oak and Jatoba beautiful wood carved details. This throne has been totally restored and is in near mint condition. The black leather cushion was custom made.
Lion Cachet, 1864-1945, was among the very first in the Netherlands to free himself from the various common Neo styles. Because of his unbridled fantasy, his passion for decorating and his flawless knowledge of materials and technique, he initiated a new style. He was a Pioneer of the Dutch Art Nouveau. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
