Its tray is is an authentic glass surface plated silver leaf with gold leaf, forming floral and decorative motifs. The mirror has beautiful shades and cracks and the edge of the plate is finely chiseled. René Drouet is a French furniture designer of the twentieth century, his work is strongly marked by the Art Deco stage. He works a lot wrought iron by combining light forms in refined and decorative interlacing.
This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
