Alex has developed a way of methodically pinching lengths of steel tube to create tubular faceted skeletons, structures from which furniture can immerge. The aesthetic of the collection is entirely defined by the process by which it is created. Intermittently crushing the structural integrity of the metal enables him to hand bend the tube, looping it back on itself to join the two ends.
