Vases Interaction and contrast, mutability and immobility, internal and external.
Gestural cocoon, material narration, alchemy of the everyday.
Care and protection, vital story, origin.
A collection of two cardboard vases and white statuary marble that focuses on the concept of protection; honeycomb cardboard - usually used for packaging - becomes a fundamental part of the finished product, made with extremely complex and artisanal processes in the assembly of dozens of die-cut sheets. The sense of interaction and immobility is accentuated by the pure form of the stone element, worked on a manual lathe with extreme precision.
