Soundplotteris a 3D printed vase that was shaped by the sound of of the rock song 'Shape Of Things To Come'. The concept is based on an algorithm that shapes the 3D vase before it is 3D printed out with laserstechnology in fine grey polyamide.
TheSoundplottervase is part of Disseny Hub Museum's permanent 3d printed collection in Barcelona.
Soundplotteris also available in two other models which illustrate different sound inputs: 30 seconds of silence and a declaration of love.
