This black casserole dish and stand was designed in 1954 by jens quistgaard, a danish sculptor and industrial designer, and was part of the anker-line range for de forenede jernstoeberier. The casserole dish is made of enamel-coated cast-iron and sits within an iron frame wrapped in rattan and on teak legs, enabling the casserole to go straight from oven to table.
