The intent was simple yet quite complex, to note which objects stopped being produced over time, understand why and if possible present a contemporary perspective that could bring them back in a way that the current market narratives could embrace them based on the aesthetic, ethic, and cultural values. The burner here presented is part of the Silent Gestures collection. The ignition base where an inflammable solution should be poured is at a distance from the borosilicate glass chamber. The latter might hold essential oils, fragrances or organic matter. When slightly warmed by the flame the volatile fragrant components flow through the air. Become present beyond their physical qualities, living between visuals, the sparkling flame and the spectator.
