This table with a magazine holder was designed by Pierre Guariche for Airborne in France during the 1950s. The piece features a tubular steel frame and a black-painted perforated magazine holder, decorated with brass strips. A double tray, one in "securit" glass, and the other in black-colored glass, are fastened in the middle with nuts covered with brass pellets. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
