Red watercolor is an original contemporary artwork realized in the 1970s by the italian artist bruno conte (rome, 1939). Original pencil drawing and watercolor. Titled on the lower right corner in pencil ''acquerello rosso a sfumare''. Passepartout included (dimension: cm 32 x 40). Excellent conditions. The passepatout presents some foxings. Red watercolor is an original artwork realized in the middle of the xx century by an italian artist and depicts a double arrow. This work has been realized by the italian artist bruno conte (rome, 1939). Conte began his activity in the figurative field with surreal abstract graphic works. He exhibited at the vii and viii quadriennale in rome, 1955 and 1960. In 1956 at the xxviii venice biennale. It is related to the galleria dell’obelisco in rome which presents it in exhibitions in the united states. Between 1959 and 1961 he elaborates images with poetic texts and develops his parallel literary activity. In the early 1960s, the paintings acquired a material consistency. Subsequently, an object choice prevails that is distinguished over time in formal concepts designed to define emerging images - events. An autonomous, almost autonomous, vegetative writing is suggested in his wooden books, a writing that tends to fade away in the almost pages of the most recent, essential metaphysical, ''paginar'' walls. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
