Original … Read more Abstract Composition is an original contemporary artwork realized by the Italian artist Giorgio Lo Fermo (Messina, 1947) in 2019. Original oil painting on canvas applied on plywood. Hand-signed and dated overleaf: 90 x 100 anno 2019 Giorgio Lo Fermo. Perfect condition. The artwork represents an abstract composition with lively and opposing colors. Noteworthy is the use of the black shapes at the center of the painting to create a true sense of depth. The contrast between the blue and the red is very intense; the light colors in the background provide a particular sense of light to the composition. The title of the artwork recalls and pays homage to one of the most important art movements born in America between World War I and II: Abstract Expressionism. See less
