This original drawing, representing a woman with traditional dress and a wicker basket at her arm portrayed from the back, has a visible and diffused foxing that fortunately does not affect the beauty of the artwork. With irregular margins (above all on the corners). A cream-colored cardboard Passepartout is included, cm 49 x 34. Jan Peeter Verdussen or Jan Pieter Verdussen (Antwerpc. 1700 - Avignon,1763) was a Flemish painter, draftsman and printmaker. Son of art, he is best known for his battle scenes, incidents of camp life and equestrian paintings. He also painted wonderful country landscapes with hunting scenes, gallant companies and genre scenes of markets. This artwork is shipped from Italy.
