This aquatint, by Ludovico Caracciolo (engraver), reproduces an artwork by the French painter Claude Lorrain (draftsman). Signed on plate lower “Claudio di Lorena inv., L. Caracciolo F.”. Plate 2, from the print suite “Liber Veritatis”, Rome, F. Bourliè, 1815. Title at the centre lower, lightly faded. In Good condition, except a usual burnishing in margins and some ink stains lower margin due to a faulty cleaning of the plate. Including Passepartout. This artwork is shipped from Italy.
