The state of preservation is good, except for a rip on the upper right corner. The artwork represents a male figure wearing a vest and a top hat, seated in an undefined space, maybe a courtyard with a carriage on the left. The man is drawing whilst holding a rigid palette on his crouched legs on a stool. It is amusing that the young artist, focused on his task, is dangling on the chair that is in an unstable and dangerous position. The drawing is very graceful, a small sketch in which the artist, with a few essential strokes, catches a moment in life like it happens in a realistic snap-shot. This artwork is shipped from Italy.
