This original poster has the dignity of an object of art to collect and enjoy at your home. Franz laskoff (bronberg, 1869 – england 1918/21 ?) laskoff was born in poland and after have studied in strasburg and worked briefly in paris he moved to milan in 1898. As regards his style hewas strongly influenced by the english beggarstaff brothers, who reduced art nouveau to its graphic essential elements. A decisive influence in this transition from art nouveau to a simpler graphic style had been the arrival of franz laskoff at ricordi in 1901. The beggarstaff’s influence, along with that of the japanese wood block print, is clear in his many works for ricordi musical performances. Although laskoff only worked for five years in italy until 1904, his style had a decisive impact at ricordi and left a sign to the other artists collaborated there.
