Good conditions except for shading and light stains along the margins. Hand-signed and titled on lower center. Original title: Ballo Napolitano detto la Tarantella The artwork is glued on a cardboard: 24.1 x 37.5 cm This original watercolor represents a group of young people dancing the most famous Neapolitan dance: the tarantella. Michela De Vito In the XIX century, Michela De Vito native of Abruzzi, worked in Naples and became a famous artist. She was maybe the daughter or sister of Camillo de Vito, a reknown painter of guaches above all of views and scenes of everyday life. Sometimes she is mistaken with Michele de Vito. “A refined painter, very skilled when it came to drawings, she had the characteristic to make her subject more gentle, compared to her male collegues''; this is how De Rosa and Trastulli describe her. This artwork is shipped from Italy. - Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

Cancellations

- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
