This artwork is an intense abstract composition characterized by strong contrasts between red, blue and yellow. The shapes seem to emerge from the deep red background. Beautiful example of Goeyens' unique artistic style. Martine Goeyens (1953-) is an internationally renowned painter who lives and works in Italy since many years. Her landscapes, her stormy seas, her pink sunrises with the sun leaping out of the sea, her sunsets with the sun taking refuge in the sea mixing its colors, are the most representative themes of her art, which make the paintings unequivocally a ''Martine Goeyens''.
