Landscape with a Village is an original artwork realized in 1939 by Charlotte Jamois in the first half of the 20th century. Watercolor on paper. Hand-signed by the artist on the lower left margin''Charlotte Jamois bud'' Good conditions. Very beautiful artwork representing a landscape with a village and some buildings in the foreground with a bridge in a well-balanced composition. Charlotte Jamois (Berlin, 1899) was a German artist that has worked in Germany since the 1930s. She studied at the National School of Arts and Crafts of Berlin; before the 1930s, she worked as ceramist. Before her arrival in France, she married the artist Edmond Jamois and acquired French nationality. In her painting, she represents the world and life of farmers. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
