Original black … Read more The Beggar is an original modern artwork realized in 1880 by the Italian artist Attilio Stefanori (Venice, 1860–1911). Original black and White woodcut print on paper. Signed on plate on the lower right corner: Stefanori. Excellent condition. Excellent lithograph depicting a beggar on the side of the road. The stroke is extremely refined: the character is watching down and has his hands crossed. The beggar is surrounded by rags and cushions and his hair is disheveled and unkempt. This work has been realized by Attilio Stefanori (Venice, 1860 - 1911) was an Italian painter, mainly working in watercolors and acquaforte etchings. He painted both landscapes, historic, and religious paintings. He was born and a resident in Venice, Italy. He exhibits in 1883, in Rome, a watercolor depicting: Rebecca. In 1884 in Turin, Rachele and Cerberus; in 1887 at the National Artistic Exposition of Venice: Claudio Clan.
