A nice poster for ''La Secchia Rapita'', by Alessandro Tassoni, libretto by Renato Simoni and music by J. Burgmein. In excellent conditions, except for a little rip on the right margin at the center. This beautiful poster that has the dignity of an object of art bears the signature (on plate, lower left margin) of Marcello Dudovich. Marcello Dudovich (Trieste, 1878 - Milan, 1962) was an Italian publicist and painter. Together with Leonetto Cappiello, Adolf Hohenstein, Giovanni Maria Mataloni and Leopoldo Metlicovitz, he was one of the fathers of modern Italian advertising design.
