In good condition except for some pencil marks and traces of sealing wax on the back and diffused foxings. Hand-signed and dated on the lower right margin. passepartout included (49 x 34 cm). The artwork represents the scenery of the roman landscape in pencil and watercolor and pen on brown paper. The artwork is depicted skillfully through confident and soft strokes with well-balanced composition. Jan Peeter Verdussen (1700 - 1763) was a Flemish painter, draftsman and printmaker. He is known mainly for his battle scenes, incidents of camp life and equestrian paintings. See less
