Original black and white ink drawing on paper glued on cardboard (32.2 x 25 cm). Hand-signed by the artist on the lower-right corner. Stamp of Atelier Touchagues on cardboard on the lower-left corner. The artwork represents a comic figure of a wolf wearing human clothing. Louis Touchagues (1893 - 1974) Arriving in Paris in 1923, Touchagues trace the point of his pencil or brush her, half a century of Parisian life. Designer - Illustrator: drawings for fabrics and silks are noticed by Paul Poiret. He collaborates with various illustrated papers (The Living Art, New literary \.) and satirical (Crapouillot, Le Charivari \.). Parliamentary draftsman, he is delegated by the Fine Arts as a draftsman at the first Peace Conference as well as the arrival of General de Gaulle in Paris. He illustrated many books of Colette, S. Guitry, Mr. Achard, Mr. Ayme, G. Duhamel \. His three albums: Women and models, Parisian and Waves in St Tropez reflect his favorite subject: women. See less
