This Austrian chandelier is a perfect example of the mutation of design styles during the 1930s. The light fixture conceived as a modernist reference to the traditional multi-candle chandelier of the historic past is crowned with the round of glass typical for the Bauhaus inspired designs. The bold combination of styles creates a feeling of nearly post-modern irony.
