Realized by a skilled hand, this rapid sketch reveals his beauty in the freshness and the rapidity of the line. This modern artwork representing a sitting woman of profile in the typical pose of who is absorbed in her thoughts, is in excellent conditions except for some folds of the paper and some dust and a usual yellowing of the paper at the edges. A white cardboard Passepartout included, cm 49 x 34. On the back the pencil written ''disegni di Ildebrando Urbani'' and the blue ink stamp on the higher right corner ''Arte Storia Collezione Contessa Laetitia Pecci- Blunt''. Ildebrando Urbani (1901 -1985) The Italian artist Urbani has participated in numerous editions of the National Art Quadrennial of Rome from 1931 to 1956 and at the Venice Biennale in 1940 and 1942. He later moved to Madrid where he continued the exhibition activity. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price. Cancellations
