Artist Proof on laid paper, avant Letter. Dedicated and hand-signed in pencil on the lower right corner. Good conditions. Passepartout included (cm 32.5 x 50). Very fresh and intense etching realized with a contrasting and dark stroke representing an Odalisque, an Orientale dancer on the center of the composition with several musician in traditional dresses on the right and on the left side. The plate has been realized from an original artwork realized by the famous Romantic painted Eugène Delacroix. The artwork has been realized by the French artist and engraver Charles Courtry (1846 - 1897). This artwork is shipped from Italy.
