The signature of the artist appears on the lower right corner. Fair conditions. Beautiful fresh artwork representing a sketch of a boy with a headgear; the face of the figure is only sketched and he wear a strange showy headgear. This work has been realized by the French artist Jean Dreyfus-Stern, a painter and engraver born in Paris and died in the same city in 1972. He lived in of Montmartre-aux-artistes (189 rue Ordener). Attracted by painting very soon, Jean Dreyfus-Stern became one of the pupils of Charles-François-Prosper Guérin (for painting) and Bernard Naudin (for engraving) before attending the Académie Colarossi and Maurice Denis and his workshops. In his landscapes (in particular Brittany and Honfleur landscapes), ''colors are sincere as in the works of his friend Louis Neillot'', he is also one of the rare artists of his time to have invested in the circus and sport subjects. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price. - Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

Cancellations

- Chairish Freight Delivery
