Important ebonized Venetian Art Nouveau armchair, circa 1790 Fratelli Mora.
Produced by Fratelli Mora in Bergamo, the factory established in 1778. At that time the main production was made by the Venetian aristocracy Bergamo being an important city of the Republic of Venice, La Serenissima. Armchair eclectic in walnut hand-carved ebonized. Open back carved with floral motifs with two whimsical pinnacles. Armrests moved with canal Terminated willed. Legs, uprights, and turned siding beams, twisted and carved rosettes on the nuts (item classical recall). Padded seat upholstered in beige velvet floral polychrome decorations and visible buttons for decorative purposes. Front feet with two wheels for easy moving. This piece has an attribution mark,
