Jens H. Quistgaard is a prolific sculptor Danish designer and high sensitivity. He designed for the American Dansk nearly 4,000 objects from everyday life, which it will forward its balanced line between minimalism and warmth. This charming and sculptural candlestick cast iron is a fine example of organic and simple processing of the material. Small room decor aside, it shows a certain lifestyle.
The candlestick Jens Quistgaard evokes a marine creature. It is used with thin candles but is in itself a little original and endearing sculpture. The piece is in good condition, slightly weathered. This is an original production of the 60s, published by Dansk. It is stamped on the reverse.
