The thick … Read more Outstanding italian popart; a pair of cool ‘drive’ table lights designed by adalberto dal lago for bieffeplast, 1974. The thick plastic holder has a curious safety glass in it, which diffuses the lightsource. The head of the light can be turned, the heavy rubber base keeps the light stable. The figurative hallmarks predict the memphis movement and evokes many associations, from car design to sixties popart. The design was clearly influenced by the work of other italian companies such as artemide, stilnovo and poltronova. Great addition to a mix and match / eclectic interior.

both lights are in good condition with normal minor usermarks. All is working and the electral parts have been checked. Each light contains one regular e 14 bulb holder inside, suitable for modern led lights. White one sized h 44, black one sized 37.5 cm.
