This fantastic tripod lamp has at some point been converted to a home interior feature lighting piece. The substantial pressed steel body on stand, has been polished and fitted with a regular household bulb, which delivers a faint dot which gives off a soft glow. It’s a great decorators piece on an industrial scale!
Strand Electric was founded in 1914 by Arthur Earnshaw and Phillip Sheridan in London. Over the next 50 years Strand became the UK and Europe's principal manufacturers of stage lighting and theatre equipment. This piece has an attribution mark,
