He was convinced that furniture, in addition to its aesthetic value, must be reasonably priced. His early work was characterized by rational construction and sober structures. This cabinet is a nice example of the early work of Pieter De Bruyne. It is designed in 1959 for Al Meubel. He designed a modular furniture set. This low 2-doors cabinet is made of olive wood. The upper part is removable. The base is very nice detailed with metal parts. Take a look at our detail pictures! This cabinet is in perfect condition. It can be combined with the other cabinet we offer on our website. In the 1970s and 1980s he evolved to the post-modern style. Bibliography: Pieter De Bruyne (1931-1987) – Pioneer van het postmoderne , UPA, 2012, p. 38-43.
