This collection collaborated with the Kaizawa sculptural workshop where they have designed and carved a contemporary Ainu motif representing the eyes of the Blakiston Fish Owl, a symbol of protection for the Ainu people.

The Ainu owl motif has been echoed in the collection's white clay ceramic designs, which are cast and hand-finished by specialists in the Veneto region, Italy. The Honey and Sugar ceramic jars are generously sized and can be used for honey and sugar, or any chosen condiment, or herbs and spices in a creative presentation of everyday food essentials.
