Lying Woman is an original lithograph on paper artwork realized by Sergio Vacchi in 1973. Hand-signed and dated on the lower right. Artist's Proof. Good conditions except for some stains. The artwork represents a woman lying in a seaside landscape and a dog. Sergio Vacchi (Castenaso, 1925 – Siena, 2016). In 1951 he held his first solo exhibition in Milan at the Galleria del Milione. After a Post-Cubist period, between 1956 and 1962, he focused on Informalism. In the early 1960s, the artist moved to Rome, where he started a cycle of gouaches and paintings. He attended the Venice Biennale in 1964. In 1997 he moved to Siena, where he founded the foundation Fondazione Vacchi. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
