This is an antique four-drawer chest from the Coronado Line manufactured by Angelus Furniture Company in the 30s or 40s. The dresser has tons of charm with its rounded details, oversized hand turned knows and scalloped apron. The dresser has minimal rustic craftsmanship and Early California aesthetic of the period. A piece that can truly be appreciated not for what it is but the statement it makes.
The dresser retains the original Coronado crown manufacturer's stamp on the back panel.
The dresser is being sold as found in aesthetically pleasing, antique condition. There is lots of warm patina to the wood overall and some minimal marks (particularly on the top) that show a life well loved. Please see the images for details.
