It is highly prized on curated antique platforms for its distinct clear glass upper shelves, faceted crystal columns, and marbled metal-leaf (verre églomisé) lower tiers. The Color and Finish PaletteThe Lower Tiers (Smoky Charcoal & Faux-Marble): The bottom shelves are not plain glass. They feature a smoky, dark gray-green backing accented with distressed, organic metallic veining. This artistic process mimics a rich, high-contrast dark green or charcoal marble. The Metallic Accents (Bright Gold & Aged Brass): The thin protective metal rims hugging the edges of the tiers and the support rings are finished in polished gold and antiqued brass. The Upper Tiers (Clear Transparency): The topmost floating panels are made of entirely transparent, thick clear glass. This design choice ensures you can look straight down through the table to appreciate the intricate marbling on the bottom shelves. The Columns & Finials (Crystal & Aged Silver): The multi-faceted structural columns are made of clear, faceted glass that mimics rock crystal. They are capped on the very top with ornate, molded metal finials that have a tarnished aged silver or pewter patina See less
