A low Swedish Modern bookcase from the 1940s, crafted in what appears to be elm with a warm, golden tone and lively grain. A central cabinet with a round brass pull is flanked by two open sections with adjustable shelves, while a single lockable drawer sits centred beneath the top. The piece rests on slightly splayed, tapered legs, giving the long, low form a light and elegant stance.
Typical of Swedish Modern design, it combines practical storage with soft, human proportions – equally at home as a bookcase, a sideboard or a media unit.
