The Magician is an original etching realized by Gaetano Pompa in the 1970s. Good conditions. hand-signed and numbered on the lower left. Edition, 52/75. The artwork represents a magician, the artwork is depicted skillfully through strong lines in a well-balanced composition with harmonious colors. Gaetano Pompa was born in 1933 in Forenza. After the war, he moved with his family to Rome. From 1958 to 1961, he lived in Munich, where he also carried out an intense artistic activity as a musician. When he returned to Italy, he spent most of his life in Rome. He passed away in Orbetello in 1998. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
