An English turned wood and leather footstool with large nailhead trim.

Reminiscent of Jacobean or Baroque designs from the 17th and 18th centuries.

This footstool has gorgeous distressed leather applied to the turned wood frame in a sling design. The original dark wood finish is original.
The brass nailheads have natural brass patina.

There is an applied stamp on the underside as shown. It reads Made in England.
Hence making this footstool likely post mid century.

The footstool was designed with 5 nail heads on one end as shown. The other side was designed with seven nail heads with one missing on the right side as shown.

Minor surface wear to the wood and leather. See less
